Todella kauniisti sisustettu monipuolinen lomakeidas. Hyvää ruokaa ja mukava henkilökunta kauniissa ravintolassa. Alueelta löytyy monipuolista majoitusta: mm. kelluvia igluja ja erilaisia hotellihuoneita mm. "puumajoja". Lisäksi alueella on upea kota, sisä- ja ulkouima-allas, ulkoporeammeita, suolahuone ja rantasauna Palojärven rannalla. Tämä paikka kannattaa käydä kokeilemassa. Upea kokonaisuus.

The hotel is on a beautiful property about 40 min from the city. However, they charge prices of 50€-70€ a person for trips anywhere off of the resort. The rooms are nice, we stayed in the treehouse, but we were shocked that we had to lug our own luggage to our room. Needless to say, for paying approximately 1500€ a night, this hotel was highly disappointing. They did not clean the room after our first night and did not restock the coffee. We then went to reception and asked for coffee, and were charged. The restaurant’s also charge 1€/person for tap water at meals. Lunch is good, but the same each day. Dinner was nothing special. For being so remote, you would think they would have better and more options for the guests. Also, two times when we went to our room we could not get in. One time the key was missing from the lock box, and another the key would not work. For being 1500€ a night, they also charge 49€ a person to use the sauna more than 1x. It appears they are nickle and dime everyone, which does not make this hotel feel “luxury.”

I went with my family on my 50th birthday. We stayed in the treehouse. The resort's location is stunning, with a maximum chance of seeing Aurora from your room or at the lake. It is a 50-minute drive from the city, and taxi fares can add up quickly, but it is worth it. The resort is new; hence, there are some teething issues as a few basic things (like no milk and sugar in the room though kettle and tea are provided) were missing, but the reception staff is always available and very helpful. The choice of food is limited, but the staff at the restaurant is absolutely gorgeous and makes all efforts to accommodate your request. I saw Aurora on my birthday at Midnight from the room and the lake; it was an unforgettable experience. The 2-hour free Spa is a great feature, though no kids below 14 are allowed. So families with younger children need to be aware.

Quite simply, one of the best holidays we’ve had. It’s a new hotel, and yes, there were one or two things that still need to bed in. But, those minor teething issues didn’t detract in the slightest from what proved to be an amazing holiday in a fabulous location.||We stayed in two of the Aurora Tree Houses, with amazing views. Maybe I’d have liked some wardrobes rather than wall hooks but other than that they were great. The food was excellent, and contrary to some other comments, we found it sufficiently varied to try different things on each night of our 4 day stay. Whilst there you must try the spa, sauna and a winters dip in the icy lake water if you’re brave enough. ||The lakeside setting, surrounded by trees, is perfect, even more so if you are fortunate enough like us to see the Northern Lights in a clear sky. We enjoyed the distance from Rovaniemi, which added to the sense this was a special place, but it was still close enough to travel in for various activities. A mix of days spent relaxing in the hotel and spa followed by an excursion proved just right for us.||No one place will be perfect for everyone but this was for us, and we hope to return in the future.
