Don't worry about the bad reviews. I can assure you that this place is totally worth it for a night or 2.
Very good price for the type of accommodation & the cheapest one in the whole area.
Although the staff is not very present except for the owner and the woman who works there, check-in was smooth, and communication with Liisa over mail was fantastic as she is super responsive and very fast.
All in all, we liked it, and we were lucky to see the northern lights.
The only thing that is a bit weird is the sauna schedule. I'd have loved to go to the sauna with my partner, but they have a time slot for women's only and later on men's only.
For a couple sauna session, you'll have to pay extra fees, and you have to book in advance. That's the only disappointment.
Do not hesitate to book one of the apartments for a short stay. You won't regret it 😊

Lasst euch nicht von der Optik täuschen.
Es gibt keine 100% Garantie für die Polarlichter und schmeisst in dem Resort das Geld raus, was es nicht wert ist.
Ehrlich gesagt habe ich null Verständnis , wieso Leute diese Unterkunft mit mehr als 3 Sterne bewerten.

Fangen wir mit dem positiven an :
Die Zimmer sind sehr schön und relativ sauber.
Lage und Umgebung angenehm.
Das ist auch das einzig Positive.

Zimmer super stickig. Keine Luftregulierung . Klima nur über Manager steuerbar .

Negativ :

Nirgendwo ist vermerkt, das man nichts an Verpflegung hat.
Das heisst man kommt in dem Resort an und darf erstmal wieder mit dem Taxi (ca. 38 euro hin und zurück )oder Mietwagen zum Supermarkt 6km fahren und dort Verpflegung bezahlen.
Frühstück ist sehr klein und Abendessen muss vorangemeldet werden, wird auch nicht mal vom Resort gemacht, sondern einem Catering.
Da wir uns durch den Director nicht wohl gefühlt haben, haben wir auf das Essen verzichtet.

Das einzige was das Hotel bietet sind überteuerte kleine Flaschen zum Trinken.
Und extrem überteuerte Cocktails , die super schlecht schmecken.
Wo der Manager sogar selber sagt , er kann nicht gut Cocktails machen . Aber natürlich voll kassiert, obwohl man nicht mal getrunken hat.

Es gibt eine kleine Sauna und einen Whirlpool , wo alle Häuser blick drauf haben . Man zahlt für eine Stunde 85euro "privat" ( WO man aber die ganze Zeit beobachtet wird. Es gibt dort gar keine öffentliche Sauna. Wir hatten dazu nachgefragt und es wurde uns gesagt man zahlt IMMER 85euro PRO Stunde.
Auch dies ist weder auf ihrer Internet Seite, noch bei der Bestätigung null so beschrieben.

Dies bei einem Zimmerpreis von mindestens 900 euro pro Nacht mit Frühstück ist einfach nur lächerlich.

Beim Frühstück gibt es eine Kaffeemaschine mit Milchpulver. Der Kaffee und Cappuccino schmeckt nur nach Instant.
Bei uns wurde erstmal versucht den Kaffee als Cappuccino zu verkaufen. Das würde so in Finnland sein, allerdings wurde nach mehrfachen Diskussionen bemerkt dann, dass wirklich das Milchpulver leer war. Das Personal hat null Ahnung.
Peinlich für so ein teures Resort.

Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist definitiv das Schlechteste was ich je erlebt habe.
Wir reisen sehr viel und haben sehr viel Erfahrung im Hotel/Resort Gewerbe.
Dieses Resort berechnet sich zu 120% die Natur und das Naturwunder, das du nicht garantiert hast.
Man hätte viel Potential, würde man das ganze richtig anpacken , aber nach so einer Erfahrung kommt man nicht mehr wieder.

Service grottig, der Managing Director ist super unfreundlich und respektlos.
Die Begrüßung war schon von ihm mehr als respektlos.

We stayed at Levi OloResort for 3 nights in total while we were in Lapland. Our goal was to be able to view the Aurora from our private cabin and enjoy the beautiful view into the forest. Unfortunately, not everything about our stay was a delight.

Let's start with the things which are positive about this place:
- It is a very modern and newly built facility
- The person at the reception was very friendly and gave us information about the place and the surroundings on arrival
- The location is generally perfect for viewing the northern lights. When you drive away for 2 minutes, you are in pitch darkness. Also, the nature around the place is wonderful.

However, there are aspects which are rather negative:
- You will not be able to view the aurora from the cabin. The two main reasons are that the so-called "Skylight Heating" is not able to melt the snow and ice on the glass roof - you will always have a disturbed view. Furthermore, the cabins are not aligned in the northern direction. Our cabin was oriented to the South - others are West and East bound - but none of them points to the North.
- The cabins are very very small. We arrived with 4 suitcases due to our whole winter equipment and there was no space to put anything. The bathroom is so small that if you expand the shower, you will no longer be able to use the toilet.
- The door code system is a big security issue. When we arrived, we received a code which we thought might follow a certain logic and is never changed for new guests. We asked our neighbors and got confirmed in our opinion. The receptionist first lied to us and said "no no, it's random". When we showed him a note which we found in the safe from the previous guests with the exact same code, we finally admitted that this might be an issue.
- The cleanliness can be improved. When we arrived, we found lots of dust, hair and other issues in our room. If you pay €900 per night, you expect a certain cleanliness standard which is not fulfilled in this facility.
- You cannot change the temperature of the room. The heating system is configured centrally to 23 degrees. If this is too warm or too cold for you, you are in bad luck. For us, it was much too warm, which could only be fixed by opening the front door several times every night. The heating is also disabled several times during daytime.
- There are way too few towels in the room and they will not dry during the day. If you want new towels, you have to request a housekeeping service for the day. If you do this, the housekeeping personnel will just enter your room without knocking.
- There are not enough tables in the breakfast room if all guests are coming at the same time. Since the timeframe for breakfast is only 8-10am, this can be a real issue (and it was during our stay).

All in all, the Levi OloResort is not a bad place to stay at. However, it is not worth the money in our opinion, given all the reasons above.

Lors de mes vacances, j’ai séjourné dans cet endroit absolument magnifique. Tout était impeccablement propre, et le cadre offrait une atmosphère paisible et relaxante. Le personnel sur place était exceptionnellement accueillant et chaleureux, toujours prêt à aider avec le sourire. Leur bienveillance et leur disponibilité ont rendu mon séjour encore plus agréable. Ce pays et cet endroit restera gravé dans ma mémoire comme une destination où le confort et la qualité de service étaient au rendez-vous.
Et Il y a pleins d’activités à faire !!! Je vous recommande absolument cet endroit !!!!

En lisant les commentaires Google nous avion eu peur d’être déçu par le logement, or au contraire, notre séjour était au delà de nos attentes, cet établissement est conforme aux photos, les dimensions sont également conformes à la réalité. Cet établissement est à exactement 11 minutes en voiture du premier supermarché et également du centre ville de Levi, sa position est juste parfaite, il est au milieu de la nature de quoi être en immersion total. À l’intérieur, le logement est parfaitement équipé avec goût et précision, il est également très propre et très bien entretenu, sachez que l’ensemble des vitres peuvent être dégivrées automatiquement, et que les alentours sont composés uniquement de sapins donc pas possible qu’il y ait des “feuilles” pour gâcher votre vision. L’intimité de chacun est préservée grâce aux imposantes vitres sans tain.

Nous nous sommes sentis au milieu de la nature en étant confortablement au chaud. Une superbe expérience !
